Coho and King Salmon Sculpture

Dan Farmer, a local artist,  hand carved this salmon sculpture using juniper wood from the Klamath Falls area in Oregon.  The back fish is a replica of a King Salmon and the front fish a Coho Salmon.  The base is Douglas Fir that was retrieved from Lake Chelan in the Big Creek area.  The base has been undoubtedly floating in the lake for decades and was created as the result of historic forest fires that have occurred along the shores.
